Board of Intermediate and secondary education, Larkana (BISE Larkana) started its functioning as an autonomous educational body in Sindh province earlier in 1995. This educational body has been established under the supervision of Sindh boards of intermediate and secondary education.
BISE Larkana board is one of the six educational boards which are presently working in Sindh and providing the exceptional educational services to the students of the area. Larkana board is considered as one of the best educational boards across the province.
Since the time of its establishment, BISE Larkana is handling the educational affairs of the Larkana region as well as its jurisdiction areas. It is also accountable to handle and manage the education pertaining matters of those regions.
The areas that came under the authorization of Larkana board include Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Dadu, Kashmore, Khairpur and Shahdad Kot.
Just like the other educational bodies across the province, the main aim behind the establishment of Board is to organize and conduct the annual as well as supplementary exams of secondary school certificate (SSC) and higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) level.
As the Board holds these exams in fair and transparent environment and also announces the fair results of these exams so it is enjoying a good repute among the other educational bodies of the state due to its unbiased environment.
Along with conducting exams at these levels, the board sometimes also organizes the exams of various diplomas and certifications exams and these exams are also conducted in fair environment under the supervision of the board.
Together with conducting exams at these levels, the board is also performing some other major responsibilities of those districts which includes the affiliation of educational institutes, registration of private and regular students at matriculation and intermediate level, conducting exam in fair environment, management of examination halls and supervisory body before the exams to supervise these exams, provision of basic facilities to the aspirants of above mentioned areas, checking of curriculum before the beginning of every academic year, distribution of roll number slips among registered students before exams and preparation of fair results of the exams.
Like the other educational boards in Sindh, BISE Larkana also follows the similar policy for conducting exams. Every year it organizes the exams of matriculation and intermediate level in parts for the convenience of students.
In March it holds the annual exams of class 9th and 10th class. In the first phase it conducts the annual exams of Matric and then SSC Part 1. For this purpose, the board authorities issues the datesheet of these exams almost one month earlier while the officials of board dispatches the roll number slips to the registered students for appearing in exams almost fifteen days before.
Similarly, the board of intermediate and secondary education Larkana organizes the annual exams of intermediate level in parts. In May at first the board officials of Larkana holds the exams of intermediate level part 2 while afterwards it holds the annual exams of intermediate level part 1 and the time schedule of issuance of datesheet 2018 and delivery of roll number slips 2018 is almost same just like the matriculation level.
The Larkana board organizes the annual as well as supplementary exams of these levels for both private and regular students of Larkana and its jurisdiction areas. After almost three months of conducting examination of the above mentioned levels, the board announces the result 2018 according the same schedule. At first the authorities of board announces the result of 10th class in July while in August the result of 9th class being announced. Afterwards the session of result declaration of intermediate level begins. In September, the board declares the result of inter part 2 while in October it announces the result of inter part 1.
