Aga khan board of intermediate and secondary education started its functioning as an autonomous educational body earlier in 2003. The educational body is one of the six educational boards working in Sindh. This board is also deliberated as a newly established educational board to handle the matters pertaining to education in Sindh.
Board of intermediate and secondary education, Aga Khan is an independent educational body which was came into existence by the well-known university known as Aga Khan University to facilitate the aspirants of matriculation and intermediate level.
The main objective behind the establishment of this educational board by the university’s officials is to handle the education at matriculation and intermediate level for the aspirants living in the specific region. Since the time of its establishment, the board officials are accountable to organize the matric as well as inter level exams in fair environment. Since the board started its working, it is undoubtedly paying its full attention to improve the literacy rate in the state by providing every possible facility to the students.
There is no doubt that this educational board is enjoying a good repute among the others because of its provision of best facilities to the students and the exceptional working environment that it is providing. It is well-known among the others because of its incomparable and unique environment for conducting exams and declaration of results 2018. As the board organizes the exams of Secondary school certificate (SSC) and higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) level that’s why today every student appearing in the exam held under the supervision of this examination board is getting the fruitful outcome of his / her hard work. BISE Aga Khan Board is also taking important measures for enhancing the education quality in the state.
Along with conducting the exams of the above mentioned levels, the officials of board are also responsible for conducting the exams of some other certifications and diplomas. The authorities of Aga Khan Board follow the specific examination and educational policy made by the higher authorities.
Every year, just like the other educational boards of Sindh and other provinces, Aga Khan board holds the exams of matriculation level in March and announces the datesheet of these exams almost a month earlier before the commencement of exams in February.
To facilitate the aspirants and to lessen their burden, the board officials hold these exams in parts. At first, it organizes the exams of 10th class and then 9th class. The exams of both SSC Part 1 and Matric are covered in March every year.
On the other hand, the Aga Khan board organizes the annual exams of intermediate level in April or May. Just like the SSC level, to lessen to burden of students, the board conduct the exams of inter level in parts as well rather than conducting the combined exams of two years.
In April, the board authorities issue the schedule of intermediate part 1 and intermediate part 2 exams.
To appear in the annual exams of matriculation level or intermediate level, it is compulsory for every candidate to get registered from the board. The organization is accountable for registration of both private and regular candidates. Though, the registration procedure is a little bit different for both candidates. The registration of regular candidates at matric and intermediate level usually done by their schools and colleges while private candidates are required to complete the registration process by their own.
To encourage the aspirants, the board also announces cash prices and scholarships for the position holders and needy students every year soon after the announcement of the annual exams result 2018.
